BIOGRAPHY OF PAULA E. SALCEDO
Ms. Paula Salcedo has always had a passion for law. When she was a little girl, her dream was to become an attorney so that she could help people who didn’t have a voice. She worked hard and made her dream come true. Early in her career, she worked as an associate attorney practicing civil litigation for approximately 7 years. Five years ago, the opportunity arose for her to practice immigration, criminal law and family law on her own. She has worked tirelessly growing her practice by representing clients in:
- Misdemeanor
- Felony
- Traffic and family law matters
By achieving the best result possible by establishing good working relationships with attorneys, staff and judges throughout Los Angeles County. Ms. Salcedo has also represented clients before the Immigration Court, U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services, for adjustment of status, naturalization, asylum and various waivers.
EDUCATION
Ms. Salcedo is a first generation graduate from Whittier Law School, and the University of California, Riverside, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree. She was born and raised in Echo Park, in the heart of Los Angeles from immigrant parents. She currently volunteers her time and serves as a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Pro Tem. She has also volunteered her time in the past to the Bankruptcy Self-Help desk and the Esperanza Immigrant’s Rights Project. Ms. Salcedo speaks English and Spanish fluently.
